Emily didn't have a normal entry into hair styling, growing up in her mother's salon, this felt more like second nature than a calling. In her younger years she loved nothing more than helping her mom with clients. Emily found peace in caring for others, the decision to go to beauty school wasn't surprising to any of us, it was her fate. We don't believe there's a life where Emily isn't a hairstylist.

Attending Empire Beauty School, graduating in 2017, she was able to fine-tune her skills and start her own search for her niche in the industry. In just over a year of training, she gained in-depth knowledge about hair care and analysis. Once she completed her education, Emily quickly gained recognition for her unique approach. Building her relationship with her clients is just as important to her as the beautiful hair she creates.

To stay ahead in a competitive field, Emily regularly attends workshops and hair shows. These opportunities allow her to learn the latest trends and techniques, leading to fresh ideas for her clients. This dedication to ongoing education ensures her clients walk away with styles that reflect their individuality and are on trend.

Outside the Salon

When she is not crafting stunning hairstyles, Emily immerses herself in various hobbies that enhance her creativity. She is quite the passionate reader, a "certified yapper", and the best thrift finder you'll meet. Her favorite way to start off a morning is to hit the gym first thing. These activities rejuvenate her spirit allowing her to bring fresh and joyful energy into the salon.

Additionally, Emily enjoys spending time with her many nieces and nephews, along with the rest of her (giant) family. She finds much importance in spending time with the people she loves. Conversing back and forth with her mother about their different salon environments and trading advice is something she values deeply.

We barely see Emily in a rush, she keeps things calm in and outside the salon, enjoying every moment and being present where she is. She easily appreciates the little things in life.
